Bending 100° in any direction, it lets you aim Sea Dragon photo/video lights or strobes into tight reef crevices while pushing light away from the camera lens to eliminate backscatter.

Precision Lighting Control & Backscatter Reduction

Positioning an underwater light head too close to your camera lens illuminates suspended sand, plankton, and debris in the water column—a phenomenon known as backscatter. The Flex-Connect Flex Arm extends your light head 10 inches (25 cm) away from the camera optical axis, illuminating your subject from an angle so floating particles remain unlit and invisible in your final image.

Effortless Crevice & Overhang Aiming

Featuring a smooth 100° bending arc, the SL9901 allows you to direct light into deep reef cracks, under ledge overhangs, or behind macro subjects without repositioning your entire camera rig. The jointed arm bends smoothly underwater yet retains enough friction to hold heavy Sea Dragon light heads firmly in place.

Fully Modular Tool-Free System

Part of the modular SeaLife Flex-Connect ecosystem, the Flex Arm clicks directly into place with a satisfying "click" and releases with the push of a button.
